hondas, they just dont know when to quit!

tonight i was heading home on the interstate, i had the cruise set on about 80, and about a 97 honda accord (couldnt tell if it was a v6 or a 4 banger) with altezzas, lowered, chromies, and an aftermarket muffler eases up beside me in the fast lane, he must have been goin about 85 i guess. so i kinda even off with him, both of us doin around 85 then he steps on it, so i gun it and it wasnt even like a 5 second race, it seemed like right after i floored it, it was over, i mean it seemed like i seriously pulled on him that fast. Then i slowed up...since i got the point across to him that i wasnt gonna lose. and he gets right on me AGAIN, pulls beside me AGAIN, so i take him for another ride...killing him WORSE this time than last time, then he wants to go AGAIN, so i just ignored him thinkin he was done gettin his a$$ whipped, but he tryed stompin it on me again, so I left his rice a$$ in the dust for the final time and got off at my exit. I raced and killed the SAME ignorant guy 3 times in a matter of minutes, those guys dont know when to quit! it was such an EASY race, i dont know y he even bothered the first time, much less 2 more times.

haha, well, at least you get a honda... I had a ford focus try to chump me today.. He was doing about 55 in the left lane, and I was stuck behind him. I very rarely pass people on the right, but this was just one of those times when I couldn't help myself. Merged right, wanted to only go up to about 65 to pass him, but the idiot must've like floored his poor ford, cuz he started to pull in front of me (remember, I was just tickling the accelerator trying to pass this guy, I hadn't a thought of racing). Weellll, under the circumstances, you can imagine I was a bit on the edge (having been stuck behind this guy for a few minutes), and wasn't about to lose my chance to pass him... I mashed on the pedal, and as you can imagine, no contest... I made him look like he was driving in reverse.. **yawn**...

PS.. has anyone seen the new pictures of the Z (on nissan's website, they just fixed the links for the wallpaper downloads today). DROOL!!!

your encounter with the focus is almost like mine tuesday night, i was at a red light beside a ragged out OLD ford escort or contour, i couldnt tell which it was, it was OLD and ragged out. i could tell it was a manual beacuse it was rolling back and pulling forward, rolling back and pulling forward......anyway, when the light turned green i just took off as i normally do, not expecting a race or anything, and i hear her car's engine screaming and i looked over and she eased passed me, so at the next light i just left her.

Haha, there was this rusted out ford tailgating me a week or two ago... I remember, cuz it was one of the most hillarious cake cars ever, the front bumper was like duct taped on, and there was literally more rust than car!!

I pretended to ignore him, and just continued to cruise @ ~70mph, and had a smile on my face every time we came to a hill and he fell back.... Sure enough, as soon as we hit level surface again, he would always end up back on my ***... Finally, we came up to a rather noticeable hill (the one right after the junction of 78 and 24 in NJ), and i lost the bastard for good...

PS.. I really hate when people tailgate... I have since developed a nice 3 step program..

#1. put hazards on, turn hazards off, put hazards on...
#2. let go of accelerator, and just allow your car to coast to a stop... if they try to pass you, drop gears and floor it.. (not on 1 lane highway, cuz then refusing to allow them to pass would not only be highly dangerous but also quite illegal)
#3. if all else fails, throw stuff out your sunroof... pennies work nice, but are a tad harsh... better to start with something soft, gooey, or both.. Obey all local littering laws...

rinse and repeat...

Nah, sorry for bashing fords... they're good cars... except for that thing with the tires, and wait, that ignition thing... the tranny fiasco.. oh, and the windshield wiper motors... hmph..

sorry couldn't resist, but the first recall where the manufacturer goes, "Oh, btw... your car has the potential for catching fire spontaneously, would prolly be curtains for them in my book"

So, this one time, I was driving down the street and this Honda Civic with its spare wheel on was being pushed down the street by three 16 year-olds with VTEC stickers on their foreheads. They looked over and nodded at me...I laughed...typical ricers...but wow, they must have had the beans for dinner because they took me by at least four car lengths...one of them mooned me in lieu of hazard lights and I drove off with my tail between my Maxima's legs.

for me slowing down does the magic, but if not deploying the 'big-gulp' does. but you better have a faster can than the tailgater otherwise...
