Clunking

When i turn my wheel all the way to the left to make a turn.. i hear clunking/grinding.. also when i go over little holes on the road my i hear clunking from the front left wheel well... it seems like its only on the left side. Recently i lowered my car.. this was also happening before the car was lowered so i dont thikn its the shocks/springs.
Any ideas ?

I'm not sure, been going to the backup site and nismoclub.ca to keep in touch with the regulars.

I believe that I know what your problem is. I have the EXACT same issue when i turn left and go over bumps.

It is simply a plastic or urethane piece that is screwed onto what looks like a bolt coming out the side of the front frame if i remember correctly. I think it limits and is the stopping point of the suspension for left and right turns respectively when you turn the steering wheel.

I have a photo at home (writing from my office now) and if you check the right side suspension you will see that this plastic "cap" is still in place.

replace strut and strut mount, that took care of my clunking, first i did the link, sway bar bushings, ball joint, still there, it was a worn strut.

I just lowered here a few weeks ago and the RF strut blew out and the noise was back, there was oil all over the strut and steering knuckle. replaced it again, so far so good O_O

Oo yeah, forgot about that, mines missing on the driver side and when i turn left hard over bumps i get this death scream of a animal getting ran over.
i just gobbed some thick grease on the contact spot and the stud, so far so good.
