How hard is it to find a 2002+ Black on black leather 6 speed?

wats going on future 5th gen friends? lol

IS it as hard or harder to find this for Gen 5.5 as it was with my Gen 4? O and with at least projectors? I don't know which one came with projectors but I have seen some that did, but they were prob aftermarkets headlights me thinks. Mainly because I have not seen any 5th gens with them stock so far..

I want the VQ35 2002+ only... If I am gonna get another max, I want it to be worth getting with not just an MEVI upgrade and looks. I want the extra 65HP from the bigger engine and I heard that there was a Gen5 with VLSD? I hope this is not that AE 2001 that only has it.

Basically in short. If I get a newer maxima I want

2002+
VQ35
VLSD if it exhists
Projectors
black on black leather.
6speed
sunroof/spoiler
SE

I know I am picky, but it took my 8 long months to find this for a Gen 4 and I love my Gen 4, I have had it for almost 2 years and I think my next car, I may want another maxi.

I don't know a whole lot of the 5th gens. I only know 4th gens... sorry if I am being noobie but at least I know cars very well......

I'll trade you interior SoonerFan. It took me 6 months to find my 6spd 02 SE Black on Grey. I had to settle for Grey leather...I wanted black too...but this was one owner and babied so I jumped at the chance. Good luck with the search, be patient...hope you find it man.

Black paint is a part time job. I have my own detailing business and I will never, ever own a black car again.

6 speed cars are hard enough to find without restricting your choice to just one color.

No projectors on 5.5 gens. They are only available on 6th gen+.

Took me 4 months to find a decent KH3 5.5gen 6speed.

And yes, Black is a second job, but it is worth it after a fresh wax.

I saw 2 on AutoTrader (VA and NC) that seemed reasonable. There's one in Norman, OK - but I wasn't sure if you'd want to go that far.

Although the sterling mist is a pretty common color, I like it ALMOST as much as the polished titanium color... Pictures don't do it justice, the deep/metallic look of the sterling mist is sooo pretty!

I don't know about black on black but when I brought my 2k2 I wanted either a white or silver exterior. At the time 6MT alone weren't that hard to find for me cause I was searching the whole SE but if your looking in a specific area that you might be waiting a bit. I found mine pretty much local but I had to pay a bit more than I should have but I wasn't raped.

Good luck

Hey, even if you can find a 6 speed loaded. It will be hard to get one with
low mileage.
As far as color, I had a Black 01 Accord and really liked it but it did show dirt really easy.

Love my Gray Lustre with Black leather.

a black car is hard to get clean and even harder to keep clean...but its all worth it when it is clean.
we currently own 2 black cars..the max and a mazda6...looking at getting an Xterra and will probably get a different color so we only have 2 cars to keep clean.

yeah it depends on your region, I'd say check autotrader as well

I was just looking around the site and found 3 or 4 in my area for sale. You'd probably find a lot if you were around NYC since there are/were a good amount of 5th gen owners.

yeah i know it looks like it, but it's actually silver.. either sheer silver or polished titanium.. i had a sterling mist in my last car, a 2001 max.. since they're so close in color, everybody keeps saying "why'd you get a car the same color?" and i'm like its not the same damn color! lol

this might be a better pic... maybe you can tell me if its sheer silver or polished titanium.. lol

Grey Lustre here but with dark grey cloth. Love the combo and even when the car is dirty is doesn't look bad-but is still dark enough the paint has excellent depth when I get done with it.

I went with silver instead of black (because I really wanted a 6 speed) and have regretted it ever since. I HATE light colors! They don't look too much different clean than they do dirty! Every time I washed my previous black cars it was like getting a new car. I love that. Now when I wash and wax my silver Maxima, I think "Why did I even bother? It looks EXACTLY the same."

I've been thinking more and more of selling my current silver with cloth interior Maxima and buying a black with leather Maxima. Same year too.
