+1, check with your insurance agency before you pay out of pocket for the windshield. Bumper is easy enough through any body shop. good luck and shop around.

Thank you!

Safelite sounds like the best bet they quoted me 183 with labor included. They did say I may need to fork over an extra 25 bucks for additional parts like moldings.

Really? Ok I'll check. I could of sworn this was only available if you have full coverage.

Ok so with Allstate if it's smaller than 6 inches then they will REPAIR it for free. If it's larger than 6 and you don't have full coverage they tell you to **** off.

really???

did you contact your local safelite directly or did you go through the national office?

either way should get the price set in stone before you make a move, so they don't try to nickle and dime you for last minute items such as molding which should be including in original estimate.

ask if there is a price difference if you pay in cash, so you can maybe take off sales tax

Backed up into the business end of a trailer (The Hitch I guess).

Visualization

Think of a parked trailer with nothing on it so you can't see it when you look over your shoulder while backing up. Then think of the part that hooks up to a truck and smashing that into the side of the bumper where the bumper supports end. Deep dent blah

i had mine replaced by safelite with their lifetime warranty...I paid about 220.

I had to make use of my warranty once due to my windshield getting cracked from my rear view mirror falling, and the little button attached to the window came down with a small chunk of glass
