New Updated Pics!

I apologize for the quality.

And also for the underneath neons, I still am having a hard time installing the sides...so until I figure them out, the front and back will have to do.

I drive with my interior neons on. My underneath neons are only on in my development, parking lots, shows etc. I dont use them on main roads. And then my alien scanner is on when my car is parked.

lol, thanks Kev. I drilled the front neon right into the plastic piece at the very front of the car. There was no other place for me to mount it because the other areas in the front of the car get hot, and i couldnt have them close to my neon.

The back are mounted against the rear metal beam. I cant get the sides in though. I dont know a good spot to drill, cause id be drilling into the frame.
And people told me to be careful to drill into the frame because sometimes wires are running through it. Does anyone have any advice about that?

Im not going to get it installed by someone else either, I was quoted at $55 /hr for 4 hrs by one place.

Thanks for the info!

What you can do is start drilling, BUT check if anything is behind the frame with a paper clip or something. "Feel" for wires and what not with the clip... if you can try to look into the hole (yes, it's small but you might be able to see something).

Good luck!

Thanks, Ill try to do that this week or later this coming weekend. I just wish i had someone who lived close to me that knows this kind of stuff. I always end up doing these little projects by myself. But on the other hand, i end up learning a lot by doing it myself. I think i can become an electrician with my newfound knowledge hehe.
