I just purchased a 2002 maxima se (majestic blue) yesterday and I am considering leather seats. The dealer is charging 1100 just for seats and theres installation costs too. I have the frost interior and I am wondering if anyone knows the best place to get frost leather that matches my car. Has anyone gotten aftermarket seats that look very much to factory? I have checked out leatherseats.com but i am not sure about the quality and color match. Can you guys help me out? especially those who already purchased and installed aftermarket leather...thanks

 

I have a 2002 max that HAD the frost leather interior, I got the two tone leather with 'MAXIMA' embroidered on it and I love'em--excellent quality leather, I'll post pics as soon as my audio situation is straightened out, which is Thursday or Friday so just keep lurkin'

 

Leatherseats.com and Katzkin both have told me that "Puddy" will match the frost interiors.

it's an '02 SE--No, sorry I sold it to a guy for $450, apparently he was going to use it for making a couch or a recliner or something

 

Where did you get the two-tone leather for and for how much? Did you install it yourself? I thought 2002 seats are different from 2000-2001, did they already have the 2002 design?

If anyone else got aftermarket leather can you answer the questions above too.

Also if you have or know anyone selling their frost leather..please tell me.

Try Katzkin.com I dont think they sell direct to the public, but when I bought my car, they took it to Sun Auto Tops in Ft. Lauderdale and installed katzkin leather. It looks good..and I believe the patten is the same as factory.
