I can put down and up the Passenger window from the driver side no problem. But from the Passenger side itself the switch doesnt work, window will not go down nor up. However the button for the power lock works on the passenger side. Is the switch broken on the passenger side? If so from what site can I pick one up from.

This is a old thread that I started so since I am going to talk about the same issue, I am bringing this one back to life.

Issue
So I order two new switches for the passenger side and the back window but I noticed that for a couple of months now, on the passenger side I can bring the window up but not down.

Is this still a switch problem? I havent installed the new switches yet as I am scared that it will blow up again. What I mean by again, well I took a working switch from the back window and installed it on the passenger side and about 2 months after it stop working and now you can only bring the window up.

Is there any other thing I can test out before I take the chance and change the switches as these were not cheap at all.

i have the same problem with my 00se the pass window rarely goes down with the switch but goes down fine with the driver control.

 

I have a similar problem, my passenger window only goes up with the passenger window control and wont do anything with the driver control. I'm thinking i have a bad master switch or something. If someone could shine some light on this that would be great.

 

That's odd. Sounds like the switch or the motor. I have some window parts out of an 03 if you are in need of one.

Yeah, I got the same problem withe my 2000 SE. So is it a switch issue or what?

 

So you guys have the same issue, the window goes up but not down. I have two bran new switches but I do not want to install them just yet as it was working when i changed it from back to front and then now it only works up not down.

 

Not sure i have a new passenger switch on the way, i will let you know after i put it in.

 

How much did you end up paying for it?
