Actually, I never had a chance to run before I had all my current mods (minus springs). I would say so far that every mod I've put on has been worth the money, with the exception of the Addco RSB, but I'm a rare case in not liking it. I'm going to try out the Stillen RSB here down the road. My first time was with everything on there on a mildly warm and somewhat humid day. I was pretty happy with the results, and I think I could do better still with some more practice and new tires. But I talked to a buddy of mine yesterday who's uncle owns a parts & salvage yard, and he's sure he can find me a 5spd tranny and will "hook me up" on the price, so it looks like that may be the next mod after all... But anyways, I noticed gains with all 3 engine mods and a nicer sound with the intake and y-pipe. I'd recommend the intake and y-pipe for starts for your engine, and the fstb for suspension, since they're all easy to install and should run you less than $700 for all three.

I also say they are worth it... at least start with intake and y-pipe for performance mods... then for handling, do RSB and FSTB
