when i turn off my car, i hear a short squeel, i'm not sure where it's coming from. could it be from my airbox or is it the belt slipping?????????

My aunt had that in her old MPV.. yea and it was belts, but she never found out which one.

 

check power steering and alternator belts. Jack the passenger side of the car up and remove the splash guard. You will see the pulley and the belts there.

 

how do i fix this??? do i need to go to the dealer?

 

You know what..I have this SAME EXACT problem...well I dont know if it is a problem. It doesnt do it everytime I turn the car off..but it does do it sometimes. Its been doing it ever since I bought the car, so I never worried about it. Let me know if anything comes of it if you go to the dealer or whatever.
