Some CEL p codes help
My uncle has a 2002 se, that recently failed inspection for a check engine light. It had a code that said camshaft actuator on bank 1, and then a code for an 02 sensor and one more for manufacturer ctrl air metering (probably caused by the others).
I assume the cam actuator relates to the variable valve control or something, but I think the motor is mechanically perfect. Could this code be triggered by an o2 sensor? I did a search and found similar but not exactly the same cases. Thanks for any input.

Why do you think the CVTC assy is mechanically perfect?
What's the manufacturer code that showed up? And which O2 sensor code?
For a proper diagnosis, you really need to post up all of the error codes themselves, not just a vague description of what they might have been.

I think its functioning properly because of bulletins I read describing a rattle noise when it is malfunctioning. The engine sounds perfect so I partly assumed this was ruled out for now. As for the codes, I am going off of memory as the retard at autozone printed the wrong p codes and I no longer have the car. If the CVTC is in fact working properly, are there any sensors that could trigger that plus an 02 sensor code?
