Just wondering do they typically get the wheel well creases out.

OH NOES, not the new ride.....

well a good shop should be able too, but it depends how bad it is. I never understood why car manufactures make the rear panel all one piece with the roof? (I know to support a stronger structure)

It depends on the damage but most shops prefer to cut out the old panels and weld in new ones. A good shop can do it and you'd never know the work was done. One of my customers had an '04 Maxima that substained $18,000 in damage after being hit in the rear, the body shop had to cut the whole back end off the car and weld a new one on. Even in the rear door jambs where the car was spliced, you couldn't tell.

My car was rear ended(before I bought it) and the guy took off. So after I purchased it I got a nice little letter from the Austin Police Department Vehicular Homicide Unit saying that I needed to contact them because I was apparently in a hit and run and they were threatening me with fines and jail time. But yeah, i can tell it was in an accident, due to the fact that my rear bumper is not very even, and the trunk lip by the bumper has a dent on it.

I have a 2000 that was rear-ended in January. It made me sick, however the shop that I took it to did a great job. I can barely tell that it was fixed but I tend to be pretty picky about my max. No one else seems to notice.

Yes, I agree with the others on here that the creases should be gone, if they do a good job obviously.
My old man does collision repair and you don't see reminents of a crash/repair when it leaves his garage.
