I spoke to JWT about the turbo kit....
and he said that they dont have any plans to market this turbo kit at all...
they just did it so they could market their ability to tune the Maxima ECU to turbo specs...
they will program an ECU for you if you have a custom turbo kit made though...
But unfortunately...No....they dont plan to market the turbo kit.
Woulda saved me alot of time and frustration...looks like I'll have to fab one myself.

So here's the $64,000 question . . .
Now that JWT makes an ECU upgrade for turbo'd 2000 Maximas, do they make an ECU upgrade for normally-aspirated 2000 Maximas as well?

JWT!!!
The results weren't too impressed and i thought someone called JWT ealier about tuning the ECU on 2k max, they said that it is impossible to tune them?????and now they are saying they can??????
UPRD has sent 2k max's ECU to Japan for tuning, so from the lastest news i heard was, they are planning to come out sometime Spring of next year, I would trust this one more though, since they produced some good ECU tuning for 4th gen maxs..
As for the turbo kit, they basically embarassed themselves with that project car, with no clutch upgrade, they ran poor 1/4 miles, even N/A 5th gen max with (some mods) and manual tranny can have that kind of run....even JWT decided to come out that turbo kit today..i bet most of the ppl here would still go for Stillen SC kit(that is if they fixed the bugs)!!!

The ECU if from 4th gen, they had to rewire it
like a 4th gen, so they never messed with the 5th gen since it is not possible to do so at this point (5th gen ECU). It was also not JWT car it was someone else's, and since there is not a upgraded clutch for the 5th gen they were unable to upgrade it to show better times.

Hmmmm. That's what I thought . . .
So the PROgram Piggyback ECU is still the only ECU upgrade option available on a 2K Max. Bummer. The PROgram works and it works well, but at ~$1,200, it's a little too rich for my blood.
Guess I'll wait until UPRD comes up with something.
