i don't think you don't understand car sales. if you can claim your car makes 3+ mpg over a Camry on the highway thats a big deal...hell a HUGE deal. The difference between 27mpg and 30 is HUGE to a consumer. as well as marketing...

forgive my spelling i r drizunk blame the gf

Its only a big deal now with current gas prices, back 5-6 years ago when SUVs roamed the earth no one cared about 2-3mpg.

Nifty. I didnt realize you were around here. I never see any Max's around.

Might be worth taking a look at if you are getting those MPG results. Which stretch of crappy road?

On 75N between Miamisburg and Tylersville. I just drove the same strech today and avg 33-34mpg @ 70mph with the new axle panel on. I would love to see 35+mpg on the carputer after the front panel is on.

Looks great.
That's some impressive mpg gains. I love the vertical flaps.
What's the trailing edge attached to? I'd be afraid of attaching it to the bumper cover. If it were to shatter, it would rip my bumper cover off.
Have you thought about Rhinocoating it, to protect it from road debry?

There is about 2-3" of the panel extending up into the bumper. The back edge hold its self in there. The material it plenty strong, so I really don't see shattering as a problem.

I gotta try this.. looks real good.

Maybe theres a way to mod this in to fit with the Stillen rear lip.. maybe notch the center low spot out and have those fins there. Reason why i bring this up is to both have the looks of the Stillen rear and the functionality of your diffuser.

Anyhows, il try something before winter hits. Keep up your good work!

I honestly was never satisfied with that panel so....I made another one. As for production, Im not gonna lie and say I havent thought about it considering the responce I've gotten here. But I just don't think it would be possilble it such a custom peice to fit this car. Finding an easy way to mount is the biggest issue. The panel its self only takes like 2-3hours to make. Anyway to the new pics. I want to make the sides and slats out of CF here soon. But with the price of CF in the thickness I want its umm on hold at the moment.

Looks even better this time around! In for more pics! Btw, I think if you made the paneling (out of a template) and attached instructions for mounting, these could sell.
