weird question

On the control arms of my maxima when changing my brakes i noticed i got these little threaded pieces...i didnt get a chance to take pics of any sort but if youve done your brakes im sure you know what im talking about.What are they for?

I think he's talking about the steering bump stops,
which is why the turning radius of the 5.5 gen sucks so much.

Its the only piece that doesny have something connected to it on the front end behind the rotors....

well that's impossible. It has to be connected to something to even be there :P

I still vote bump stops. they're threaded and have an end cap on them

it is the steering bump stop. It's threaded because a little plastic cap screws onto it to prevent metal-on-metal contact on the LCA at full lock.

The little plastic bumpstop pieces are a couple bucks at the dealer.
