i've never heard a flowmaster in person that i knew was a flowmaster.. but i can say i like the magnaflow sound

 

where can you find a magnaflow muffler at a good price? ive posted in the newbie thread as well.

what do you guys think of these? i checked magnaflows site and some of them list at $300+.

will these fit a 03 maxima?

 

they look pretty good.. as long as it has the right size inlet, an exhaust shop can weld it on.. i think our stock piping is 2.25 inches?? i'm gonna buy from one of these websites.. it's just personal preference, but i usually feel more comfortable buying from a large site rather than ebay

thanks all for the very useful input. after about 2 months i finally went ahead and had an exhaust shop weld on a new flange and sleeve. Cost was $70 bucks, which was a little higher then expected. Probably b.c the way the economy is right now. Regardless, I will replace my exhaust at a later date and thus will have more time to decide on what setup is best for me.

i could have taken that $70 and dumped it into the MR catback. But I decided to just go ahead and have her fixed before the muffelor fell off. Again thanks all for your suggestions and help.
