New Mods

Well I got my Stillen FSTB and PIAA H3 Extreme Whites (thanks Phuong) today. I did both of the installs and they took about 2 hours total (needed to go to Home Depot for a Wrench). Changing out the fog lights were tricky on the first side since I didn't know what I was really looking. The second fog took about 5 minutes since I knew where everything was that time around. My Max is definately looking better with matching heads and fogs.

The Stillen FSTB was easy at first but got tricky at the end. Did anyone use that spacer bolt for the Vaccuum thingy on the driver side? Not sure if the Stillen Hi Flow intake bracket I have made it more difficult. I ended up bending the bracket down so that the FSTB bar had clearence when it was mounted onto the plate. Anyone else do this? So after the install I took the Max out for a test spin. All I can say is WOW!!!! The car feels a lot tighter and more responsive when turning at high speeds. I can't wait to get the RSB next. One other thing, while I was bolting the bar on I dropped one of the washers into the engine somehwere. I searched high and low but couldn't find it. I think it just dropped straight down but it never hit the floor. Any idea if this will cause problems? Thanks for reading my long post.

Congrats on ur new lights. I am absolutely loving mine. My next car(2003 350Z, or 2003 M3) will have hids. However, I am very seriously enjoying mine. I will probably be getting a Courtesy FSTB, but will not install them myself.

damn dont you hate when that happens!!!ive dropped all type of stuff into my engine before(thankfully not my max!)Ive even left tools on my engine for a day or 2 untill I opend my hood later on and found em.i guess thats what happens when I do work when im tired..but none of the screws or washers ever messed anything up..i figured they either fall out or come to rest in the bottom of something..anyways congrats on your new mods!
