Removing Resonator

Can this be done as a cheap way to make your car sound better? I'm not sure if it's possible, I searched and found nothing.... will it work? And if someone has already done this, how does it sound? (on a stock exaust system)

What's your definition of "sound better"? Louder? Yes. Deeper tone?Probably. Possible? Definitely.

A good muffler shop should be able to do this for you.

It was just a tad louder after I removed mine, however, the little louder became a little snarl after the y-pipe. I guess it's the combo of the cai conversion, no resonater and y-pipe that makes that exhaust note....sounds allright..
