So After $700!....

My car is fixed (I hope). It did run a lot better, no humming anymore. They said my Power Steering belt was severly cracked and my Alternator belt was severly cracked, the coolant was all black and mucky, had that cleaned and replaced, total fuel system flush.

And the mysterious humming noise was that I managed to break and dry out my front outer tie rod ends. Had them both replaced.

And as I've said before, something always goes wrong...one headlight dosn't work. I should be able to fix it tomorrow. Ill give a detailed reciept pic of what they did though, they probably added other crap.

kinda steep for two end links and two belts with a radiator flush and fuel system flush. (how did they flush your fuel system?)

unless you forgot to mention something else.

I know how you feel. I just dropped $700 on a new clutch last week. The emotional sting still hasn't gone away yet.

Cost me $500.14 when I hit a drive shaft laying across I-30 in Arkansas and broke a hole in my left front wheel. Wheel, tire, installation and inspection to make sure nothing else was damaged. I definitely feel your pain!

I just gotta put some stuff on hold for my car until money is comfortable again
