Getting to the washer parts in the hood
Getting to the washer parts in the hood
On a 2001 SE...
The driver's side washer isn't squirting. Not even a trickle. Hopefully, it's just a plugged nozzle and something I can take care of with a needle.
However...
If the problem is in the tubing inside the hood, I'll have to get in there somehow and I'm not sure exactly how to open it up. My first suspect is the Y-connector at the passenger side nozzle.
Can anyone step me through how to get in there, or tell me the correct way to get to the washer tubing in the hood? I've done a few searches, but haven't found any posts for this exact problem.
Thanks,
Jim

Cool.
Do those plastic caps holding the insulation pop-off and pop back on? Or do you have to break them off? I'd like to keep the insulation in-place when I'm done.
The few threads I've read regarding the insulation seemed to be about removing it completely, and didn't address re-connecting the insulation.

I have the same problem, but I still get a little squirting, not much though.
Do you have a FSTB? I am thinking that my racingline FSTB is hitting the bottom of the hood and may be pinching the tube. I have to look into though. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions of where to start looking?
This is pretty crucial because winter is coming....and i definitely need the driver side working here in new england.
