Can some1 tell me how to paint my 00 grille black & what brand of paint I should use?

Try taping everything off, clean it off with rubbing alcohol, get black paint from auto parts store (duplicolor), paint it, then put clear coat over that.

I know dude he Max is sick. It really would go with his theme perfect. & I love that Mach 1 lip also.

So after the rubbing alcohol part on the grille. That means i wouldnt have to put primer on it first or anything???

The point of doing clear will help protect the paint a bit better.

and thanks for the comments guys, the mach 1 lip is coming off once I finish a CF front lip (mach 1 lip is a bit chewed up)

1. clean with pre-paint cleaner
2. 5-6 light layers of paint (drying between)
3. 2-3 light layers of clearcoat (drying between)

ps my mach 1 lip looks better than dave's

Hey Dave where did you get your (nismo) decal on the side of your car from?

because im trynin to find some. Did someone on the .org make one for you?

(1) Light sand up to 500-grit wetsand
(2) Wipe with alchohol
(3) Apply light coat of adhesion promoter

anyone know of a color that pretty well matches the stock color of my tan 00's grill? a long time ago i spilled PurplePower on it and it changed the color a bit in spots. I would love to get it back to stock look, cause i don't really wanna go straight black w/ it. Anyone?
