Thanks, Brandon is great but I agree, Ward and Bradshaw are more explosive....

Back to topic: Called the dealer and they claimed that Nissan makes the clutch, that's BS

No, it's not, allthough Valeo is a japenese clutch manufacturer, they supplied the clutch for 4th gens. The oem 5th gen clutches were supplied by Exedy. I used to always get mine from Speedforce racing, but I don't see them with anything up right now, but this appears to be the same price, which is clearly a hell of alot cheaper than getting it through Nissan http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...1%7C240%3A1318

Wow that's good pricing. See eBay can be good sometimes. Get the Exedy.

I don't wanna talk about it....only to say that I wish I knew that the grill was part of the bumper before I touched it. I will eventually put some time and money into it (maybe buy a new bumper cover) but currently I have more pressing financial commitments....Damn clutch

Hm so you cut out your grille. You might as well get a '02-'03 bumper cover and an '02-'03 grille. Good luck with everything.

Valeo is the manufacturer of the OEM Nissan gen 5.5 Maxima clutches. I thought Exedy may have made at least some of the 350z clutches though.

I'm currently trying to decide between these 2 clutches. The Valeo is 20 bucks cheaper, and is stated to be a sprung disc. The Exedy is "the perfect setup for any stock or lightly modified vehicle".

The seller also claims their 350z valeo clutch is "OEM Nissan" (3rd link).

I'm looking for a good deal on a clutch right now, and maybe I'm onto something.
