AC Question

Is there a way in the 2k3 max to run the fan without the AC compressor on. I know you can in the 2k. Problem is i have the digital AC setup now and there isnt an AC button like there was on my 2k.

Help?

I am not aware that you can do that on the 2000. The fan comes on with the AC, or whenever the coolant temp requires it. The AC compressor does not have to be on for the fan to be running. If the engine temp goes above the normal range, the fan will come on. Is that not sufficient? What are you trying to do?

Oops, just realized, you may be talking about the HVAC fan, not the engine cooling fans. Sorry.

Turn the whole system off, using the off button, and then start hitting the MODE button until you get the fan configuration you want. Do NOT hit the AUTO button. The AUTO button makes the compressor kick on. You can still adjust the temp **** while you're using just the MODE button.

AC runs only when you press the AUTO button.
if you want only the fan running, press OFF then press the fan speed button.
if you just want the vents open without the fan running, press OFF then press MODE.
