power door locks not working

power door locks not working

My power door locks and my interior lights are not working, i think it might be a relay or something of the like...the fuse is good...any insight???

which fuse you were looking?

possibly the SECU, but check all the fuses

The fuse under the steering column marked interior lights,but I didn't see a anything labeled for power door locks.

I went through every fuse under the dash and everything looked ok...SECU??

i know it is a PITA but remove every fuse and check it. I once found that my clock and radio lighting was not working and it turned out a fuse under the hood was the culprit. The brake light fuse was blown (foglight rewire). If you do not find any blown fuses then it is most likely the Smart Entrance Control Unit.

If it is the SECU I have one for sale in the classifieds, check your under hood fuses too, you never know

Download the FSM and check the SECU with a volt meter. There are a few tests in regards to power door locks and SECU in the EL section starting on page 273
