Power driver seat problem

Anyone have issues with their power driver's seat.

Seems like all of the sudden the reclining portion stopped reclining forward.

The power switch will move the recliner back towards the rear seats but not forward towards the steering wheel.

Any thoughts on this?

just a guess but sounds like a bad contact in the switch.

might want to see what you can do about taking it apart and cleaning the contacts or scan the local junkyards for a new switch

Sorry, should have specified.

It's a 2000 so there are no memory seats. Only power driver and manual passenger.

Seat was working fine then one day out of the blue it stopped reclining forward.

Something like that happened to me, but mine stopped sliding forward and back so I slammed the back of the seat a few times and it worked fine.. maybe some tough love will work..

Does anyone know if there is a manual adjustment screw somewhere in the seat in case something like this happens?

Bang the motor with a hammer.

it worked on the fore/aft adjustment motor. Dealer charged me $30 to do it!
