just this morning on the way to school...

back to the body shop.. this is the first car that i have dents and and hits that are not my fault...

it's hard keeping a car lookin' good.

 

Just as long as you're alright and it's not your fault, it's all good!

I feel your pain man. I got rear-ended by some dumb@$$ taxi driver in Manhatten only 3 days after I got my car!! Sucks man. Well after about 1 month I got it replaced. Body shop was nice, he matched the color perfectly.

i got rear ended in my 3rd gen right before i got my 5th, except that one, it was a hit and run and i had to literally chase the guy in hot pursuit through traffic and red lights while driving w/ one hand talking to 911!! i got the license plate # during the pursuit. cops said they got his address and was going to go over. i was going to call it a loss until i got a phone call from his insurance company.

this one happened on he way to school this morning. i was stopped at a train track when i heard this 'SCREECH' and i just pressed my brakes and waited for impact, all the while thinking, 'not again!'.

just don't deserve a driving license.. California does have some of the worst drivers in the world..

 

It is also unfortunate that most of the good cars are all in CA.
I agree with punkdork on the German driving academy.

 

when you know your going to get hit, your not suppose to leave your foot onthe brakes.. just to let you know.

 

when i had a 89 taurus, i was the first car, second car behind me was a old boxy sentra, 3rd was a new civic ex. me and the sentra were stopped, the civic came hard, i hear breaks screeching, i didnt think, i just gas'd my car (damn auto with the 2 sec delay! this is why you auto's need UDP's) anyway my car got like 3 ft passing the red light, civic hit the sentra, sentra hit me. they poped my muffler thats about it, bumper was a little crooked but cant really tell... the sentra had a giant dent in his trunk/rear lights/bumper. like he backed up into a pole at 30mph. surprisingly the civic had NO damage, not even a paint chip! and the sentra and civic, they were cousins.

 

but then i didn't want to smack the car in front either. then i would have had to pay for that one. at least i can heal... but my MAX.

My car was rear ended by a flighty chick just over a month after I bought my '00 SE. She was busy watching another accident sight just down the road and figured she would cause her own! She actually hit me doing about 10mph. I saw it coming at the last second but had no where to go. I was stopped already, but started to pull forward a bit to minimize the damage.

She was actually driving her boss to the car dealership to get his car. She didn't want to get out of the car because she was afraid I was going to yell at her. Her boss came over to see if I was OK and I said "it always happens to the new ones". He didn't realize my car was virtually brand new. He really let her have it when she did come out of the car.

The really funny part was they she was wearing a full length fur coat, like 4" heels and a mini-skirt. She was his secretary and had a company car. Hmmm... kind of makes you wonder, huh.

The car was fixed perfectly and didn't cost me a dime.

well, REALLY, i'm a poor joke. i'm a guy his own wife calls cheap cause i only order 99 cent menu meals!

 

I also got rear ended on the LIE Long Island Expressway. Some dumbA$$ woman in a z3 hit the back of my max. The only dent I have are the two screws that went into my bumber making holes.
DAMN NEW YORK STATE for front licence plates.
