what should the RPM should be when the car

is on but in Park
Is on and in drive with the breaks applies and no gas

because when i'm driving and let go of the gas feel like the car is slowing down faster

like doing 309 and the car is on 2000RPM and let go of the gas it trops to 1000RPM fast

This was taken a while ago (like 3-4 years ago). But I'm guessing this is standard.

mine shows a little higher than that on the gauge but not much when i got my timing advance done they gave me a print out that said it was 682 rpm

I think that as long as it idles smooth its fine
