Showing signs of warn clutch

I was driving on the freeway yesterday and i gave it a little bit of gas to pass a car, the rpm's went way up then I slowly gained power like the clutch was slipping now it is doing that alot. I'm just wondering how hard is it to change our clutches? I have changed a clutch on my jeep but that was rear wheel drive and im assuming fwd is a little more complicated.
Also, what is a good aftermarket clutch? Are there good racing clutches for less $$ than factory?

It's not too bad. Could probably do a clutch on a 6MT now in an hour, hour and a half.

Your first time, allocate a good day for it. After you learn the tricks, it cuts down on the time a lot.

'Racing' clutches? There are clutches for less than factory, yes. Might as well pair that up with an aftermarket flywheel while you're in there, since you likely won't be able to find anyone to resurface your stock one.

No need to use an engine support on these cars, you only remove one of the 4 mounts.
