First of all, a little punctuation and sentence structure helps immensely in being able to read a post.

Are the connectors different on the seats? Are you saying the new ones are heated?

Half of my posts are from my cell, and they're quite clear

Do the new seats have the side airbags?

I've been watching this thread in the nyc forum, He says both sets of seats are 2003, but the connectors do not match. I've gone through the FSM and there is nothing to indicate that the connectors are different from a gle/gxe/se. Told him to take some pictures of the connectors so we can see. I have a feeling the leather is not from an 03

yea sorry about the post i was typing from my phone, the new seats are leather memory and airbag the driver seat has this big white box connected underneith to it but anyways, the only plug that went in is the seatbelt plug on both seats my side passanger was never powered only my driver seat was, but the connectors are to big for some reason, they are both 03 seats just different models, im see if i can take some pictures to show . all i need is power to move them back and forth forget about the rest.

The 'big white box' is the seat control unit, it feeds power directly to the seat switch.

What I'd do is get that 16 pin connector off of a leather equipped car, and wire up your current two pin connector to it. That would be the easiest way IMO, and not require modification to the seat.

Failing that, you could always swap over all of the power equipment from your cloth seats.

For the passenger seat, you can just run some power wires through the center console or underneath the carpet, and out to underneath the seat.

Why do you have two threads about your seats? http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...2-leather.html
You only need one...
