Knock sensor

Hey guys, did anyone ever replace the knock sensor on the VQ35? What degree of a PITA this job may turn to (also diagnostic procedures, etc)? Interested, because I suspect the KS causing the pinging in our cars. (More correctly, not protecting from pinging)

Never done a VQ35 KS in the car, but I don't believe you can get to it with everything assembled.

The correct way regardless is to remove the UIM/LIM in order to be able to properly torque the bolt down.

Removing both manifolds only takes ~20 minutes anyway, so it's no big deal.
