Careful Replacing Rear Side Marker Lights

Hi Maxers

I read the owner's manual and used a screwdriver wrapper in cloth to get the left rear light off. I still chipped the lens edge while forcing it backwards and up. You really need to compress it backwards harder than trying to pry it up.

Once I replaced the bulb..I had a hard time trying to get the lens back in.

After applying lithium grease...the lens popped back in much easier!! I glued the broken chip back in afterwards.

thanks

Vic

i have a Haynes repair manual and they suggest to actually take the splash guard off and force them out from the back to prevent the breaking or chipping of the paint. I have clear side markers on mine.
