I have a 2001 maxima with 84000miles and it's giving me these codes..P0440 - emission control system malfunction....and P0420 catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1.....everywhere i look i see P0440 is a bad gas cap so im picking up a new one from dealer tomorrow....for the other i wasnt sure since it could be so many things so yesterday i put bank 1 and 2 converters new with direct fit ones...everything fit no leaks or anything...http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Exhaust-..._armrsZ1.....i reset the light and picking up that gas cap hope that helps....anything else u guys thinks it could be?
