LOUD NOISE COMING FROM REAR DOOR WHEN I UNLOCK

I have a loud noise coming from the passenger rear door when I hit the unlock button. Sounds like the actuator is bad and it wont unlock, but it does lock no noise is made when it locks only when it unlocks. I took the door panel off and did not see a actuator from were the inside door handle is to the lock closer at the inside curve in the door.

Anybody know how to replace or fix what I cant find. I not to sure what to look for?

Thanks for any help.

Open that door, and lock and unlock the door, does it make it then?

I would first start by liberally spraying the door latch and the pin on the door jam.

Is right next to the latch on the side of the door. There's not much room to work with.

The part # is highlighted in green.

I manage a Kia service dept. On our Sorento suv's and Sedona van's, they do the same, a loud buzz, but only when locked OR unlocked. I can't figure out why not all the time. Most of the time it is when unlocked. We replace the latch assembly that includes the actuator.
