Polarg Hyper Amber

Hey, anyone with clear front bumper lenses (i.e., Autodynamic, etc.) using the Polarg M20 Hyper Amber wedge bulbs? If so, are they much more amber in color than the bulbs that came with the Autodynamic clears...? Thanks.

I just ordered the M20 for my clears. They will arrive while I'm out of town next week, but I'll try to remember to post something when I'm back in town and put them in. Sometime around the 30th or so, most likely.

Cool...thanks. BTW, where did you purchase your bulbs from? Also, have you seen the super amber LED wedge bulbs? I don't know who makes them.

Yes they are much more amber than the ones that came with them. Once you get the M20s, you'll see how much darker the tint on the bulb is as compared to the ones that you got with the clears. The ones that came with the clears are more yellow than amber. I use the Polarg M20s and M21s in my clears, and they work great.

AutoFreak is good for all Polarg bulbs except the Visual G Series. Autodynamic carries the G Series.

I bit the bullet and bought the M20's from www.autofreak.net for $16 shipped and they are *MUCH* more amber in color!! Almost stock in appearance at night. I wonder if the color will fade over time though...anyone??

I agree

Just installed the Hyper Amber Polarg's in my clear front and rear markers. Very nice fronts. The color does match stock almost perfectly. I am waiting for my G-series 1157 for the turn signals to upgrade as well.

I am still disappointed in the rears...still a bit too pink for my tastes.

Will take pictures when it stops raining.

I just got my bulbs today ... the rear reds are great. Although I had autozone specials before that were pink, these are red and look so much better.

The polarg bulbs from autofreak.net. I didn't order the amber for the font, but reading this will make me think again.

I got the hyperwhite bulbs for the steplights and the overhead light.

Anyone know the bulb for the ashtray?

Really? I still think they're too light. If you're comparing them to the $2 bulbs from the local Home Depot or auto store, then yes they are better.

Yeah they are actually sorta pink. A slight hint of it...doesn't match up with the taillights that great..
