So about 10 mins from work my driver rear wheel starts emitting a horrible squeal like hissing sound obviously a brake issue. Being only a few mins out I limped in and took a look. It was almost smoking a bit and smelled very hot. Pads look to be in rough shape but i think the caliper is hung.

Called my buddy for a tow since I dont feel it should be driven at all-hopefully its all fixed by the end of the day.
Great way to start the week

 

[update]-shes been towed so as not to do any more damage.
turns out the LR caliper had seized. Got so hot i burned my fingers, melted the hose and had stopped short of damaging the rotor.
be about $300 all said and done

 

good move on the tow. I'm that guy that drives it home just to see i gotta replace the rotor too

 

hahaha im the guy that would've drove home too... lol srry to hear bro... an unexpected $300 bucks right now will have me homeless

 

I was actually gonna attempt it in the pk lot here after work but realized any time its something unexpected and I try it myself (not knowing the full problem) it usually cost me 3 times as much and leaves me carless.

Thank god we didnt spend any of our refund
