Spare Tire and Accessories

Okay, so next step to address with the Max is the spare tire, jack and trunk floor. I dont have either and I would like to have it as I travel extensively. I've tried some of the local junkyards, but they dont have any 5 gen Max's. Any suggestions other than going through Nissan for these parts?

You might want to check if they have any I30 also, in case the trunk floor and the spare tire are the same as the 5th gen maximas. For the jack, I think any nissan or infiniti will do, but don't quote me on that; you might want to double check with them for any cross-reference.

Try the 5th gen classifieds for the jack etc, and +1 on a full size spare.

i think a generic scissor jack will fit in the cubbyhole provided. I didn't think a full size spare would fit either. Anyone have pics?

i doubt a full sized spare would fit either, i wouldnt want to lug around that much extra weight back their either.

I am 99% sure i have 4th gen jack in my shed that a friend left at my house for some reason then sold his car if you are interested PM me and i can take a pic and you can get a good idea if it will work for you

I dont believe a full size spare fits either. I had a blowout on the interstate and tried putting the blown, full size in the trunk and it didnt fit. I had a 235/45 tire on my stock rim, but it still didnt fit. I always wanted one since I have the 6th gen brake upgrade and there is no way the spare will clear those calipers. So now if I get a flat in the front, I have to pull a rear, put the spare on it then relocate the rear to the front.
