I purchased a set of black and clear euro tails from ebay...the only problem i have with them is the blinker bulb.....do i need a special bulb? is the 5.5 gen harness provide a smaller blinker bulb? or do i actually need to modify the tail light housing to make the bulbs fit?

 

You have a picture? If its the same pair I got, I didn't have an issue like that for the 03 SE.

 

i do, but dont know how to upload one. the are all clear with the "se" black trim around the edge of the housing, i got 1157 bulbs for blinkers, i notice the 02 and 03s are 7440 bulbs, my 1157 bulbs do NOT fit into the hole and the harness connector to the housing is too big on my harness.

 

You have a 5.5, you need the harness for 00-01 tail lights. Can get them at an autoparts store.

 

no i have a 2000 GLE not a 5.5

 

then its the other way around.

 

WHERE CAN I GET THE 02-03 HARNESSES?

I JUST CALLED ADVANCED AUTO, THEY DONT CARRY ANY TAIL LIGHT HARNESSES....
