Wiring VAFC on 5.5gen

I'm taking my car to a local performance shop and I bought the VAFC from a guy and all it had was the harness and the controller, no instructions or anything. I found the wiring info on apexi's site, but obviously nothing Nissan related. Any tips, tricks, or a write-up on that? I haven't found anything.

And I think this is the best place to put this thread because I'm sure you guys are using the VAFC to tune more than the all motor guys.

I also moved this because it is not Advanced or specific to FI.

Thanks for all the info. I see that people are using the VAFCII to control the VIAS. The regular VAFC doesn't, correct? I have the block plate in now, so it doesn't matter now. But would it be benificial to put it back in and have the VAFC control it?

That doesn't apply to you because you have a 5.5 Gen. The VIAS on the DE-K is completely different. For you, the VIAS is open by default, and is vacuum operated to close between 1800 rpms to 3600 rpms. If you have the block off plate, that entire process has already been eliminated. Besides, the stock VIAS activation for both the VQ30DE-K and the VQ35DE is already where it should be, I don't think we've seen any conclusive evidence that they need to be altered.
