time for a spring refresh...

Its time for some maintenance, the car its not running the way it should be, I think. I have about 114k miles on the car, and I am the original owner.
I don't mean to ask this question again, but I cannot find much on the search (a lot of stuff that I find and click on is broken or brings me to an entirely different topic).
So, I am looking to do that overhaul maintenance (replace wires, spark plugs, etc) job. I am used to replacing rotor and cap, but not on this car. Do I need to replace the ignition coils? Fuel filter? Honestly, aside for brakes, oil & filter, air filter, and tires, just about everything is original (except for listed mods below). Oh the headlight lenses are completely shot, but I can shine them up, right? No need to replace them.
So if anyone could chime in with a list of stuff to consider, or point me to a topic that is not broken, and has all that info, that would be great.

Thanks,

JimL

There is definitely more and more stuff out there available for your hazy lights. I've seen stuff at places like Advance Auto and Autozones. It is kinda like a wax kit. I haven't used it yet, but I will have to sooner or later.

Look in the manual under 100k maintenance, it's an important one IMO and you've missed it. Do all of what it says.

Umm, my owner's manual only goes to 60,000 miles. Yes, it says, just duplicate it, so the 30k mark becomes the 90k mark. The only thing it mentions, as a foot note, is replace the spark plugs at 105k miles. Which I plan to do. I don't see anything else special. There are lots of things to inspect. So, I could use that as a guide line. Anything else?

Thanks,

Jim

When I worked on my grandparents caddy I got this stuff from Advance Auto it was in a silver bag and came with some sandpaper, polish and sealer. Works great!

I'd look at the front end and check for any torn boots on axles, balljoints, sway bar links, etc. My bet is that you'll need

Sway bar links for sure, maybe sway bar bushings.

Maybe balljoints.

As a maintenance item I coat my axle boots with silicone spray every oil change. IMHO it keep them from cracking.

Just my 2 cents
