It's not gonna bolt up, but you can get it welded on.

The only thing that would suck about that one would be that if you ever got 2.5 pipping you'd have to get another muffler since the opening is only 2.25 on that one. I'd get one with a 2.5 inlet and muffler shop would still be able to fit it on with no problems.

thanks for the quick response guys, really appreciate it. Sorry for being a noob about this but is the pipping the diameter of the muffler ---> [OO] <--- diameter of one of the holes?

No hes talking about the hole that'll be created in the back where the piping is. The muffler shop will have to cut off that piping and weld it to your existing pipe.

Other then cutting off my piping and welding it to my existing pipe, there should be no problem with fitment issues correct?

Yeah I did a bit of searching for the OEM G35 Sedan muffler on the Maxima. I just wasn't sure if these will fit since they are not OEM and the seller mention G35 Sedan only. Thanks for the response guys! Will post pic and sound when done

Why not consider this one...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISSA...1%7C240%3A1318

...I have it on my car and it's pretty nice. Several members ended up buying it as well after I posted pix/vid.

I had the one you linked to for my Maxima (actual axle-back OEM Maxima replacement) and was extremely upset with the quality of the tips. Looked like **** on the car and fitment was horrible. Took it off in a week and sold it back on eBay for same amount.

Sweet thanks for link, can I install these by myself or will I have to get them done professionally?

P.S - Do you have a sound clip of it?

You should be able to install it yourself. It's definitely a DIY job.

Which 1? The G35 muffler or DIY axleback?

Wait I just noticed PB Blaster and WD-40 are not the same. Would WD-40 do?

They're both penetrating sprays, one (PB Blaster) is just better than the other.

Yeah PB Blaster is better on rust which is what the problem is gonna be. It'll also help if the car is warmed up (from my experience).
