so, i replaced my alternator about a week and a half ago and now my service engine soon light is on, i tried to go to autozone, and they tried to scanners and my port doesn't work...

they said i have to take it to the dealership.

i really don't know what to do from here..
car starts and runs fine and i have no clue what's wrong with it.

 

Try a different Autozone. They should be able to pull the code.

 

tried two autozones, 4 different scanners between them, my port is dead somehow.

What model year are you? Can't help if we don't know the details.

Have you tried checking for power at the DLC?
