you think that getting thr tornadocharger is bad, or should i go for the turbocharger?

im confused =[
nothing to be confused about, that tornadocharger added 148.8 horsepower to the wheels, and I've got the dyno to prove it.

Damn, 148hp is pretty good.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Elect...Q5fAccessories

This ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER! only gave me 60HP. I should have got the tornadocharger!

dude in all seriousness at 17 you shuold be looking into your future..school..job.. what have you.. F/I for this car will cost you over 5 grand..so if you got money to blow... read this...http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...turbo-kit.html
and this..
http://www.speedforceracing.com/prod...aximaturbo.php
and that price is just for the kit.. tunning and install will prob almost match it...
....if you want to go fast cheaply..buy the OBX v2 headers on ebay..a vfac2,...NWP spacers..a berk intake.. and get it tuned..

but seriously..read through threads.. theres a wealth of knowledge..or else you will get banned for countless threads like this.. and trust me you wont be the first...

In your first post you said you had a bunch of mods and were looking into a turbo. If you don't already have headers, spacers, intake, etc, then what are your current mods? Just wondering...not flaming

You have a GLE, which means you have an automatic like me. These transmissions are garbage, I know this from experience. If you put a turbo on that crappy automatic transmission, you will ruin it very fast. So in other words, you would have to either consider doing a 6 speed swap first, which isn't cheap, and then beefing up the 6 speed, or beefing up your automatic A LOT (not sure how), which still most likely wouldn't be enough. Take everyone's advice and don't even think about doing it until you learn more about what is involved. Just stick to bolt-on performance for now.

i dont have headers or cams tho =[ they are a bit expansive thats why i am rethinking the turbo thing

I have a '96 GLE and I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. 220K on the original engine and tranny, no problems at all. Even on my '03, no tranny problems.

titosafa7, you've been asked numerous times to stop posting these threads when the information is out there (entire super/turbocharger section) as well as using the newbie thread. You have now violated one of the more serious rules on this site by using racial slurs towards other members. This thread is being locked and you have earned yourself a ban for the comments you've made. Do NOT re-register while you're banned or both usernames will be banned permanently. Two different mods have discussed this with you (myself included) yet you ignore our direction.
