what up guys, its about that time again for her tune up but ive been noticing some things , she idles really low , the car vibrates alot while in drive, i have this crazy rattle at low rpms mostly from exhaust, and once in blue car feels really heavy and shifts kinda hard, and is runing slow feel so much power lost, i kno im need motor mounts, because i was told, but what eles can i do for this tune up to bring her back to life, just got the car not to long ago 134k scared as hell to change trans. fluid because i can tell it hasnt been changed and the person who had it didnt do anygood but just put cheap gas and drive, if anyone can really just try to give me a list of things to do so i can have it done when tune up is up, and see if i can turn things around thanks.

 

Cant really tell you how to fix a rattle just get under the car while its rattling and find the rattle lol. As for the trans well try the drain and fill technique. Since the auto trans holds around 10 quarts of fluid and since just draining it through the plug only removes around 3-4 quarts just do that. Then try the the basics as far as maintenance change the belts, brakes, brake fluid, power steering fluid, front sway bar end links, check the ball joints, check if bearings dont hummm while driving, check if the shocks/struts are still good if they are still oem then i would say since the car has 100k miles they need to be replaced front and rear, dont forget in the front you'll need to replace the upper strut mount bearings(round plastic crap) basically you'll need to replace the hole upper part in the front shocks.
