H&R Wheel Spacer Problems

I got the TRAK-R wheels spacers withg studs already in them (20mm) for the rear of my 01 SE. The stock studs (that the spacer mounts to) are too long ??!! I am using the stock 01 rims also.

This is EXACTLY what is happening with my car.

I know people use these spacers-did anyone have this happen? I cannot mount the wheel up flush to the spacer because the stock studs stick out too far. I was sure that this was a straight bolt on affair?

So-does anyone have any advice,
1. Shorten the stock studs (dremel)
2. Get shorter studs from Autozone (if so what length and thread pitch)

Any advice?

Your wheels doesn't have the holes for each stud simple as that, I know it sucks. Nissan put holes in the 02-03 wheels though, weird. The only thing you can do aside from returning them would be to order longer studs (60mm, 14.3) and knock the existing studs out of the spacers so it's just the spacer itself. Nissan sells "Nismo extended studs" for $70. But if you search, I think Ichiba has them for $2 a piece.

You may as well just get H&R spacers then. Return those things and get the ones with the new studs.

Get the correct DRS type and maybe H&R will work with you.

Sorry, I was just referring to the H&R spacers without the integrated studs.

I thought that's what you meant -yep, looks like back to the drawing board (calling Optionsauto AGAIN). I need the DRS style instead of the DRM which they sent. Thanks for the help guys!!
