no warning light ....no resistors... but.. they do stay ever so slightly lit at all times...

im trying to get the ones for the vanity mirrrors, can someone please tell me the ref # o the replacemnet # im looking for

edit: got them v-leds.com is the place to go!

map light rewire?

i just received the LED light for my map light but it doesnt work, am i supposed to invert the polarity on the wiring so i can get the LED to work? (i have a 01 if that makes a difference)

Yes. He explicitly said that very thing in Post #2: "To get the map lights to work you need to reverse the polarity."

It's no big deal. Just cut and swap the wires, crimped back together with some butt-connectors.

Hey, Mist_Max, how you liking those vanity bulbs?

I've found that they look real nice, aesthetically speaking. But for function, they're somewhat too bright. What helps is if you swivel the bulbs to the outside a little, so the light isn't so direct.

Note the LED's on the left, and the original bulbs on the right:

i just wasnt sure because his car is a 5.5 i thought that would make a difference.

i was looking around my door lights so see if i could just pop the laps off without having to take the door panel apart but i couldnt see a way to do it, i guess im taking my door panel aprt again!

What? No. You don't need to remove the door panel to access your courtesy lights. Just slip a small flat-edge screwdriver in between the light and the panel, and pop the light out.
