some misc. questions
so ive been reading through the different threads in the forum and i am pretty sure i know what im goin with performance wise on my 02 but i would like to get a little bit more direct input before commiting. ive been reading about some different headers for the 5.5s and it seems just about everyone is goin with cattman, is this because it is simply the best or the best for the buck, or the only good quality made? is there any that some people prefer over these, also if i get myself the full exhaust from cattman, will it be noticeably louder? im not huge in the loud exhaust, what i would love it to be able to get the same or close to the same sound as the altima SE-R's, is it comparable? now with suspension, i dont want coilovers, and it seems everyone is goin with tokico illumina's, is this best ride quality, or do they not make kyb agx's for the 5th gens? what about csk's? and im pretty sure im goin with some tein s-techs, but dont know how good the ride quality is compared to others, does it kill ride quality, or is pretty decent, i know it will be stiffer but i dont wanna have it be too harsh. thanks for the input in advance.

Illuminas are your best choice but our cars ride like crap lowered imo I have illuminas with h techs and the ride is tolerable any lower I would have to expect the worse. These are just my opinions. Cattman exhaust and headers is going to be the loudest choice check out the exhaust thread. Everyone has there own opinions so you will probably here alot but these are just my opinions.

I have the megan catback and its not too loud. I drive mostly in 30-50mph range and its barely noticable but once you get over 2500rpms it gets kind of drooney, the sound is great especialy at wot where its pretty loud. As for suspension I've got Illuminas and Vogtland springs and the ride is definatly harsher than stock but its not too bad, you definatly feel the bumps and other road irregularities you wouldn't feel with stock suspension.

For headers you could also look at OBX Racing. The price is great! Usually around $350 shipped as compared to Cattman's $699 (I think... I dont see them on the site anymore???) price tag. Take that money you save and buy yourself a catback from Megan $350 or some people have Tsudo $220 as well.
