01-Anniversary lip on 02 Max

I have a 02 Maxima and i want to put an 01 anniv lip on my car.
I looked into this before but many people said it couldnt be done.
Also many people said putting 02-03 factory headlights on a 00-01 maxima couldnt be done meanwhile i see people putting the lights on there cars..
has anyone done or attempted this....
I like the factor look better thatn anything else out there...

If you look at our 02-03 lower part of the bumber where the bottom grill is, its a 2 piece verses the 00-01 is 1 piece. Get pics of both cars and you will see. It won't fit.

Since when did people say it coundn't be done?? Never heard that before. I think you mean "shouldn't be done" because of the headlights being stolen.

But anyways as for the lip, if you feel confident that it will fit and have access one..try it out and tell us what happens. I don't think it will work out because the the opening of the bottom part is very different from the 00-01 bumber.

I dont think it will fit at all. IIRC, the two bumpers are shaped/designed differently so unless you do body work, I doubt you can make it fit.

I know a member here posted a pic in his photo gallery with a 5.5 gen and an AE front lip. I guess keep an eye out or if you have a lot of time on your hands keep refreshing the main forum page and may see it lol. From what I saw it doesnt look too great...looks too small for the 5.5 bumper imo

I refreshed since I last posted and haven't found it, I would assume the owner removed cause he probably got alot of questions about it.

If you have one or have access to one, get it, cause if it doesn't fit, there is a huge demand for them so you can sell it with ease.

Never knew someone fitted them on 5.5, but I'm sure it's not really worth it to mess up the rare AE lip.

Notice the foglight area is diff and the bottom grille is wider on the 5.5 which means you have chop the lip a bit to make it flush.

The only difference in the overall shape of the headlights is that the 02 03s are a little bit taller so theyll sit right on the bumper with no gap at all.

I like the front AE Lip too but the grill on the earlier bumper doesnt do it for me so I went with the stillen classic.

if anyone is so pressed to add this lip why not just change the front bumber to a 2K1 (dont really know why u wanna go that far)... or just be satisfied with the stillen or maxxtuning cause all the money, time and hassle really isnt worth it

Unrealli, that is the Maxx Tuning Lip on your white max right? I want one of those so bad young and can't find one anywhere. The stillen that looks like the maxx tuning is for the 00-01 only cause of bumper fitment.

If you want an OE look for your car do the Mustang Mach 1 lip. I love mine and everyone thinks its stock. Plus it wont brake if you happen to hit it on anything.
