How much and how long to bleed brakes?

Just got brakes on my car (2000 Maxima) and need to bleed out the brakes. I have never done this before and don't know anyone who knows how to do it so I will need to take it to a shop. I had to change the calipers as they were leaking brake fluid. The reservoir is full, but I still have VERY spongy brakes.

Anyone have an idea of how long it would take for all 4 wheels? If a shop had to do it how much do you think it would be? I don't think its very complicated..?? I live in Boston.

Thanks!

It's not that hard, but it's easier on a lift for sure. Just need one guy working the bleed screw and one guy pumping the brakes.

Start with the wheel farthest from the master cylinder (RR I think) then LR, RF, LF

Pump the pedal till it's kind of firm, then the guy releases the bleed screw while you hold your foot on the pedal. The first couple of time your foot will go to the floor. The guy working the screw can tell you when its all fluid coming out and no air. At that point move to the next wheel farthest from the master cylinder and repeat the process.

to add to that...if you don't have speed bleeders...the person will have to hold the pedal down till the other person tightens the screw back in.
