Cattman y pipe installation on a 03

looks pretty straightforward anything i needa be carefull off? i was reading that the o2 wiring is zip tied and can be extended without having to solder in new wire.

What do you mean by "zip tied"? You are right about not having to cut and extend, you may be able to gain some slack by just sort of readjusting where the sensor wiring is tied in. You may also have to trim one of the studs from the rear bank precat. You'll see - it is the stud that goes through the y-pipe flange right where the collector tube of the y-pipe bends up towards the precat.

When extending the O2 Sensor wire, don't accidentally confuse it with one of the ignition coil wires.

That might sounds obvious, but being sure about what wire you're cutting can be real important.
