Anybody care to comment on the Quality of OEM pasrts vs. some aftermarkets, such as Moog, KYB, or Beckley!?!?

Let's just say that price isn't a concern....which are BETTER?!

Given the realtive failure rate of the OEM's, I'm inclined to choose MOOG or something else.

how do you know when they are bad. I am getting a clunking noise over irregular surfaces. My swaybar bushing and endlinks are brand new so I am wondering if its the strut mounts. When I look under the hood at I can see a redness looking bushing hanging out of one of the mounts but not the other one

I will stick with OEM no matter what. Moog does not come cheap anyway.

Coming to strut mounts, are you going to replace your struts too. If yes then this is the best time to replace the mounts. Coming to bearings, there are plastic parts on which the mount slides w/o friction (so there is no bearings kind of thingy there), often not needed to be replaced. They are cheap, if you are replacing the mounts might else well replace the bearings too.. Peace of mind.

Good luck.
