How much does the spare tire weigh from a 2k1 max?

I will go weigh mine right now. Even though it's from a 2000, but that shouldn't make a difference.

Thanks! In track racing would that 26.5LBS make any difference? If so how much? .1 in 1/4?

do any of you know if the 2k2s have the same spare
and does anyone know how much a full spare would weigh?

I am sure it will make some difference....how much? not sure. When you do go to the track, take out the spare and the jack. That should be around 40lbs less, plus take out the liner ontop of the spare (the carpet thing and the piece of cardboard). Take out the front passenger seat while you are at it too

i was just about to ask if anyone knew how much of a difference it would make, thankx--my 2k2 spare weighs 28LBS and my sub and box weigh 40LBS, my 2 amps & the rack probably weigh 40 or 50--now that i'm thinking about it that's A LOT of weight, what kind of difference in the 1/4 do ya think i would see w/o this stuff (120 LBS)
